Meet the Artist

Hi, I'm Kayani Ostojich, a Game & Entertainment Design student at Otis College of Art and Design specializing in environment art, worldbuilding, and game development. I enjoy creating immersive worlds that combine strong visual storytelling, atmosphere, and meaningful player experiences.

My work focuses on stylized environments, level design, lighting, and gameplay development using Unreal Engine 5. I enjoy building spaces that encourage exploration while supporting narrative and gameplay through environmental storytelling.

My long-term goal is to work in the game industry as an Environment Artist or Game Designer, contributing to projects that inspire players and bring people together through interactive experiences.

At Otis College of Art and Design, I have worked as an environment artist, game designer, and art director on collaborative game projects. My experience includes developing playable games in Unreal Engine, creating stylized 3D environments, and building immersive worlds through lighting, level design, and environmental storytelling. Beyond the classroom, I have gained experience through internships, industry mentorships, and networking initiatives while continuing to grow my skills in game development and environment art.

I enjoy crafting spaces that feel lived-in and memorable, using atmosphere, composition, and environmental details to guide player experience. My work spans environment art, game design, and visual development, with a passion for building engaging interactive worlds that blend creativity and gameplay.
